ATFX LATAM Team had the opportunity to visit the Mexican Stock Exchange in Mexico City on October 15th, 2021.
The ATFX team met with Gerardo Aparicio, Head of Mexican Stock Exchange School. Gerardo welcomed the ATFX LATAM team at the entrance of the Museum and gave us a tour of the Museum of the Mexican Stock Exchange, learning about the foundation of the Mexican Stock Exchange. Gerardo talked about the structure of Capital Markets, Debt Securities and Derivatives and lastly the ATFX LATAM Team was invited to take a group photo on the Auction Floor Balcony.
Pedro Zaid Meneses Morales, Regional VP of LATAM, highlighted the importance of learning about the history of the Mexican Stock Exchange. “It is important to know how BVM grew in Mexico and with what foundations and values they grew to learn from its successes and defeats.”
