摩根大通公司发布利息收入预警后，股价大跌。

摩根大通股价出现了自2020年以来的最大单日跌幅，随着上升通道的到位，这可能是一个重要的高点。支撑位在191.03美元下方。
该银行总裁兼首席运营官Daniel Pinto表示，对净利息收入(NII)的预测过于乐观。净利息收入是指银行的贷款收入与存款收入之间的差额。
Pinto对投资者表示:“NII的预期有点过高。”“明年将会更具挑战性。”他补充说，明年的费用也可能会增加。
摩根大通曾预测，由于利率居高不下，今年其NII将升至910亿美元。然而，经济疲软和通胀放缓将导致收入增长放缓。
管理层对NII过于乐观的评论令银行业感到不安，而竞争对手也将面临同样的问题。
Pinto还表示，第三季度摩根大通的投行业务总费用可能最多增长15%。在投资银行业务收入跃升46%的推动下，该银行第二季度利润创历史新高。花旗集团和富国银行等其它投行也公布了投资银行业务的强劲增长。
