It was another tumultuous day in financial markets yesterday as continued flows out of risk products hit the market. US indices had a mixed day with mega cap tech stocks hit again whilst the Dow saw a steady gain.
US Treasuries again saw a disparity between the short and long dated yields and a flat day in the dollar does not go anyway to describing the volatility that hit currencies over the three trading sessions as markets saw excessive volatility, especially in anything to do with the Yen.
Oil prices perked up again after the strong GDP print in the US and Gold continued its recent fall as more profit taking hit the market.
